Design Factory members enjoyed a successful show at London's 100% Design last month at Earls Court.
Leicester based designer/maker member Jo Cope launched her new 'Hold My Trainer' product alongside her best selling 'Hand Hook' and 'Storage Arms' to delighted audiences at the show.
Jo is a conceptually led designer working in areas of fashion, accessory design and installation, with clients including Topshop, City Gallery, V&A Museum and Icon Design Trail.
Jo's special limited edition chromed 'Storage Arms' product, created exclusively for 100% Design was sold to an interior designer for a Villa project in Italy - watch this space for more news on this prestigious project!
'Magma' company, with two shops in London and one in Manchester have also expressed interest in stocking Jo's products in all three of their stores.
Jo said "100% Design was a very successful show for me, I received lots of direct sales and orders and I'm really looking forward to further enquiries and products being used for a number of projects in the pipeline."
Derbyshire based designer/maker member Alison Yule also enjoyed a successful show, with lots of press interest from the UK, Italy and France.
Award winning Alison creates hand woven fabrics that fuse contemporary design with traditional fibres and techniques.
Alison commented "100% Design was a great event for me! I have an excellent lead from a factory in Belgium and I really believe there is a resurgence of interest in the hand made, unique products over high street produce."
